Ellesse graduated from Widener University with her Master's in Social Work. Ellesse currently works in both the community based and outpatient programs at Journeys Counseling. Ellesse has over six years of experience working with individuals and families. Ellesse has a very rich background working at inpatient facilities, outpatient facilities, and hospice. Ellesse has experience with co-occurring disorders and has worked with adults, children, and adolescents individually. She has experience working with individuals and family units. Ellesse provides a different perspective within her therapeutic approach, focusing on the client's pursuit of inner- peace, self-discovery, and unlearning self-sabotaging behaviors and habits. Her treatment approach is eclectic and focuses on meeting the client's needs in the present moment based on their presentation for treatment. Her goal is to help her clients create healthy and long-lasting relationships with themselves and others. Ellesse has several treatment modalities that she utilizes with clients, including CBT, Narrative Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Gestalt, Solution-Focused, and Motivational Interviewing. Also, Ellesse is training in TF-CBT. Her specialties include helping people cope with depression, anxiety, and trauma.
