Janece Bivings is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Delaware and Pennsylvania. She has several years
of experience in the field of mental health with a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and a
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
Janece serves children, teens, families and couples. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor as well as a
Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
She believes having a safe and nonjudgmental place to talk and process life’s difficulties is the
foundation for healing. Janece has worked with clients experiencing various issues such as anxiety,
depression, disruptive behaviors, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and trauma.
Janece also has experience working in a variety of treatment settings including private practice,
inpatient, outpatient mental health/substance abuse, residential settings, and correctional facilities. She
utilizes an eclectic approach including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Motivational
Interviewing, and Reality Therapy.
Her theory is, “Individuals who have the motivation to improve and courage to seek growth though
vulnerability and hard work, can accomplish all the goals they desire.”
She believes working in partnership with clients and utilizing a holistic, strength-based, person-centered
approach will help clients work through their challenges and achieve their goals.
