Jill is a graduate of Wilmington University, graduating from the Masters in Mental Health Counseling program. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor. Jill began her career at Journeys during her internship in 2019 in our community-based program. While she continues to work with our youth in that program, she has added hours working with our office-based clients. Through her many life experiences, Jill has gained insight into the challenges of this thing called life. She treats each client as the unique and beautiful human being they are, while respecting differences in their experiences, perspectives, and values. Jill strives to offer support and encouragement through difficult times, working with clients to find solutions to immediate difficulties. Jill focuses on working with clients towards personal growth and life satisfaction. Jill utilizes a client-centered approach and pulls from various theoretical perspectives depending on the client's needs. Jill has experience and training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Art Therapy, Play Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
