Keith Kaut earned his master’s degree from East Carolina University and has been counseling professionally since 1988. Keith is a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health, a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and a International Certified Gambling Counselor II. Keith's specialties include grief, trauma, and working with family members who have addiction problems. Keith also specializes in counseling persons with co-occurring disorders, combinations of Mental Health, Substance Use and Problem Gambling Disorders. People who have more than one of these problems often would rather see a therapist that has expertise in all of their problems instead of having to see two therapists for them. Keith has a good reputation in the field and has worked in a wide variety of settings including detox, inpatient D&A treatment, being the Mental Health specialist in a Substance Abuse program and the Substance Abuse specialist in Mental Health programs.
