Mobile Outpatient Therapist
Alvin Woodhouse Jr.
LMSW candidate
Alvin Woodhouse Jr. is a master’s-level licensure-track therapist with 14 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families. He works with youth ages 4–17, supporting concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, behavioral challenges, emotional regulation, family conflict, and at-risk behaviors.
Alvin believes therapy should never feel “one-size-fits-all.” His style combines evidence-based practices, creativity, humor, and real-world conversations to build genuine connections while helping young people develop confidence, healthy coping skills, stronger relationships, and better decision-making. He utilizes approaches including CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, solution-focused interventions, play-based strategies, and trauma-informed care, while collaborating with caregivers, schools, and other supports to help youth succeed beyond the therapy room.
