Andrew Moore

MSN, CRNP-PMH

Andrew Moore, MSN, CRNP-PMH, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion, curiosity, and hope. He believes every person has the capacity for growth and healing, and he strives to create a welcoming environment where clients feel heard, respected, and supported throughout their mental health journey.

Andrew earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and has worked in the mental health field for more than 15 years. Throughout his career as a registered nurse and now as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, he has had the privilege of caring for adolescents and adults in inpatient psychiatry, outpatient behavioral health, emergency care, and community-based mental health settings. These experiences have shaped his commitment to providing individualized, evidence-based care that recognizes each person’s unique strengths, experiences, and goals.

He provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and individualized treatment planning for a wide range of mental health conditions. His clinical interests include anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related disorders, stress and burnout, life transitions, grief and loss, relationship concerns, self-esteem, and mood disorders. He also enjoys helping individuals who are feeling emotionally overwhelmed or seeking greater balance and resilience in their daily lives.

Andrew’s approach is collaborative, person-centered, evidence-based, and trauma-informed. He believes that effective mental health treatment is built on a strong therapeutic relationship and shared decision-making. Every treatment plan is tailored to the individual’s needs, preferences, and goals. During medication management appointments, he integrates supportive therapeutic interventions and evidence-based techniques—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based strategies—when appropriate to help clients better understand the connections between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and overall well-being.

Clients can expect a warm, approachable, and nonjudgmental environment where they are encouraged to ask questions, actively participate in treatment decisions, and feel empowered throughout their care. Andrew’s goal is not only to help reduce symptoms but also to equip clients with practical strategies that promote resilience, emotional wellness, and lasting improvements in quality of life.

Outside of his professional work, Andrew values lifelong learning, personal growth, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. He believes that continually developing both personally and professionally enables him to provide the highest quality care to the individuals and families he serves.

Seeking help is a courageous first step, and Andrew is honored to be part of that journey. He looks forward to partnering with clients to help them build insight, strengthen resilience, and achieve meaningful, lasting change.
