Danielle Hunter, MS, LPCMH, NCC, C-DBT, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Delaware and is certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. She works with children age seven and older, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, helping clients navigate life’s challenges and work toward meaningful therapeutic goals.

Danielle earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wilmington University in 2021 and has six years of experience in the mental health field. She began working with at-risk youth through the Community Support Program during her internship and later transitioned into outpatient services.

Her areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, borderline personality disorder, eating disorders, body-image challenges, bipolar disorder, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, emotional regulation difficulties, grief and loss, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

Danielle uses a collaborative, person-centered, and trauma-informed approach grounded in evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and art and play therapy. She strives to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can identify strengths, build skills, and move toward healing at a comfortable pace.
