Family-Based Mental Health Therapist
Kelle Plucker
Kelle Plucker is a Family-Based Mental Health Therapist with a strong interest in supporting children and adolescents impacted by trauma, PTSD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), emotional regulation difficulties, and communication challenges. Her work focuses on helping youth and their families better understand how trauma and developmental differences can affect emotional, behavioral, and social functioning while building practical coping, communication, and relationship skills that can be used at home, at school, and in the community.
Kelle provides intensive, family-centered therapy to children, adolescents, and families ages 4–17. She utilizes the Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT) model and other evidence-based approaches to help families strengthen relationships, improve communication, address challenging behaviors, and develop solutions that support healthier family functioning. Her approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and collaborative, recognizing the importance of working alongside caregivers, schools, medical providers, and community supports to create meaningful and sustainable change.
Kelle’s professional path reflects a longstanding commitment to children and their development. Her journey began with studies in nursing and later expanded into Early Childhood Education, Mental Health, and Drug and Alcohol Counseling. While serving as the Director of Education and Mental Health Services at Cedars Academy, Kelle discovered a deeper passion for mental health work. Her experiences working closely with children and adolescents strengthened her interest in understanding the effects of trauma, PTSD, and developmental differences and continue to shape the populations she is most passionate about serving.
